To look, too, at what is disappearing.
Some things change when we allow ourselves to look at them for longer.
These tulips had reached the end of their bloom. Their forms had folded inward, transformed, almost detached from what they had once been.
I photographed them at that precise point when beauty no longer seeks to appear, but persists in another form.
