A Maison’s story is not told solely through what it creates.
It also lives in the people who carry it forward, the gestures that shape it, the objects it imagines, and the story that gradually unfolds.
For several years, I have worked alongside Gemmyo, exploring different photographic territories.

I photograph Pauline, its founder, alone or alongside Charif. My work also explores the history of the Maison, its jewellery and, more recently, the faces of the women and men who are part of its journey.
Different images, created at different moments.
Yet always guided by the same intention : not merely to photograph a brand.
To seek, little by little, what makes a Maison.

15 YEARS — GEMMYO

To mark its 15th anniversary, Gemmyo chose to tell its story through those who helped write it.
Founders, team members, artisans, partners, inspiring figures.

Fifteen people. Fifteen stories. Fifteen ways of contributing, each at a particular moment, to building the Maison.

For this series, I chose to look beyond the individual portrait.
What interested me was understanding how, through fifteen faces and fifteen singular stories, the portrait of a Maison could gradually emerge.
Photographing people, of course, but also what connects them: enduring bonds, gestures, convictions, encounters, and all those invisible traces that, over time, come to form a shared story.
Portraying a Maison through those who made it possible.
These fifteen portraits will continue to unfold throughout the year.

The story of a Maison
is also written by
those who chose to believe in it.

What we build
always bears the trace
of those we have met.
